Death Star Pine Wood Derby Car

've been raised, I assume, under the Christian faith. You know how not to believe in a particular faith because you are not Muslim, you are not Hindu.

Why are not Hindu? Because it happens that you were raised in America, not India. If you had grown up in India, you'd be a Hindu. If you had grown up in Denmark at the time of the Vikings, you would believe in Wotan and Thor. If you were raised in ancient Greece, you would believe in Zeus. If you had grown up in central Africa, you'd be believing in the Great JuJu of the mountain.

no particular reason to consider only the Judeo-Christian God, under which has been raised by pure chance, and wonder what if I'm wrong. What if you're wrong about the great JuJu of the sea?
In facebook, I am a member of the group "if not an atheist, believe that Richard Dawkins is God." I could say many things about Richard Dawkins, but I'd summarize by saying that the guy is awesome. If you do not know, internet is the source of knowledge. I came to know about it after watching the famous video "what if you're wrong?" (what if you're wrong?), Which is part of a much larger video that includes a long round of questions posed to Dawkins after giving a presentation about his book "The God Delusion . I hope at some point to put the full subtitled video here is very informative.

Best of the response given by Dawkins, is that it gives a realistic picture of the matter in simple words.

Religion has been part of social / cultural development of mankind and there are an incredible number of versions, just because each religion was born from the ideas of someone, one by one, and it is natural that different. And throughout history have competed religions have been modified and merged.

And in the process of course, have committed countless atrocities. Especially for the issue of competition. The

list of gods in which at one time believed the man is quite long and insurance is incomplete although Pachacámac!. But overall, we've all come to believe in God (or gods) of our culture while we ignore / deny the existence of all others. It is as if we were all almost atheists, and we deny the existence of almost all gods.

Zoroastrianism was the first religion to have a single god, Ahura Mazda (the god of the prophet Zarathustra), and evidence suggests that this was the origin of the religion of Abraham, which resulted in Judaism ("Yahweh"), its branches Christianity and Islam ("Allah"). I wonder whether Zarathustra will even imagined the tremendous effect it would have on the history of mankind.

However, the issue of competition has taken things to extremes. While "Yahweh" is a winner in its field, among all the higher beings / gods taken of all faiths around the world, God omnipresent, omniscient, creator of all, who sees everything and loves everything is in Indeed, the most improbable. But this write in another post.

Although who knows, and I'm completely wrong.
